MAP Testing and RIT Scores

Ridgefield School District introduced Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment testing during the 2010-11 school year.

MAP assessments were developed by the Northwest Evaluation Association to give Rasch Unit (RIT) scores that provide accurate measurements of how students are performing in a variety of subjects.

The collected data will give teachers more insight into where a student needs help or needs to be challenged.

We've collected a variety of documents on this webpage so you can learn about this exciting assessment system, and what it will mean for students at Ridgefield.
